DESTINATION: THE 'INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION' TRAIN AS AN ASTRONAUT AND BECOME A SPACE EXPLORER

ORBITAL SPACEFLIGHT

Destination: the “International Space Station” Train as an astronaut and become a space explorer
To board this orbital spaceflight, you must first train program at the famed Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, in Star City outside Moscow. This includes learning about the flight program, and spacecraft operation.. Of course traveling to space will be an out-of-this-world experience, but going through this training program will also be an experience to remember. With the orbital spaceflight, you will train as an astronaut and travel to space as one, too.

Once you have completed your training, you will board the Russian Soyuz rocket. The destination of this orbital spaceflight is the International Space Station (ISS). It will take less than 2 days to reach the ISS, which orbits 400km above the Earth. A permanent crew of six astronauts from around the world reside on the ISS, which is jointly operated by 16 countries including the United States, Japan, Canada, European nations, and Russia, for extended periods of time. You will be living there, in the zero gravity environment for approximately one week.

The ISS completes an orbit around the Earth every 90 minutes. So you will witness a sunrise or sunset every 45 minutes. By the end of your expedition, you will have circled the Earth 120 times and traveled 4.8 million kilometers. 7 civilians have already made this journey, and the world-renowned singer, Sarah Brightman is next private citizen scheduled to make this trip.
